Thus, if I send the Baxter book first, and then the Stirling book, the Baxter's entry appears in the library, but when I open the book I find that it's actually the Stirling book. The problem is that when I send both books to the Kindle App on the iPad Mini, whichever book I send first appears normally in the library, but then, sending the second book overwrites the first, but leaving the metadata for the first book in the library. The books have separate IDs in my Calibre library (3, respectively) and when I display them in the Calibre book reader, everything is absolutely fine. One is written by Stephen Baxter, and is configured in Calibre to be book 2 of the "Time's Tapestry" series the other is written by S.M. I have two books in my Calibre library with the same title: "Conqueror".
Just come across a curious bug with Calibre 1.17, 32-bit, running on 64-bit Windows 7, and connecting to an iPad Mini via the "iOS Reader Applications" plug-in to send books to the Kindle App.
